Three Things....

Sunday night at church our pastor asked several people to speak about three things they were thankful for.  As I listened to those people speak about what they were most thankful for, I thought about what three things I was most thankful for and why.  I am forever thankful to God for his grace and forgiveness, but after Him, there are three ladies who have impacted my life and I could never thank God enough for them.

                                                   1. Brooke-

 because she brings the balance to my personality, she's my best friend, the one person that God put here for me.

                                       2. Anna Jo-

because she shows me how to be compassionate to people, no matter how scruffy, dirty or tattered their faces may be.  Always willing to give a hug, and always striving to please others. 

                                       3. Madsey-

 because she keeps the mischief alive, reminding me that even though she's not always an angel, that hug and sweet smile is always there when you need it.

If you've ever wondered if I am thankful- well, yes, yes I am.

Here's a little story I shared on my FaceBook that I'll share again for those who don't do "fB".  While sorting through these images I was getting my usual Q&A from my two year old daughter.  "What his name? What her name? They get married? They gonna kiss?"  Then my wife walks up and says "Madsey, isn't she beautiful?"  Madsey replied "yeah, and him, too."  Can't wait to photograph this beautiful couple on their big day!  So perfectly made for each other! 

A Chair, A field and Some Lively Young Ladies.....

Bought this chair over a year ago and finally got back around to using it!  Loved photographing these lovely ladies and even got a few of their beautiful aunt and handsome cousin!

Neglect

neglect (noun): to leave undone or unattended.  Yep, I've been neglecting the Beehive Blog.  I was totally thrown back when I saw that the last time I posted was AJ's birthday in July!  So, I apologize to you loyal blog followers and get ready- posts are coming.  I've got some catching up to do and we're getting right on it.

What's more awesome than awesome?  How about "awesome(er)".  Yeah, I know it's probably not a real word.  But this 2010 graduate is awesome(er) than awesome.  I knew it was going to be a rockin' session when the first thing her mom did was apologize for her shoes......
