Zoey & The Time Machine Camera

Meet Zoey.  Her mom and I have been friends since, well, since we were Zoey's age, and I've known her dad almost as long.  Looking through the camera today was like peering through time, back to my childhood.  Thank you Miss Zoey for allowing me to photograph you and for helping me remember some great times!

If you are a part of the Facebook community, you know that sometimes you can't resist posting a status that you know will make people comment.  Several weeks ago my status was "I just shot my mom, and enjoyed it".  Thirty something comments later........

....anyway, this is my mom and her wonderful husband!  Love you MOM!

The Snow Princess and The BULL

The day after Christmas we were privileged to photograph the wedding of two of our dear friends.  Fred & Darlene's wedding was one of the sweetest weddings we've been a part of. It even snowed a few flakes that day!  Congratulations to Fred & Darlene~ the Bull and the Snow Princess!

All-American Family

Meet the Sourbecks.  I was honored this Christmas season to photograph this beautiful family.  Tommy proudly defends our freedom as a member of the US ARMY and was recently deployed overseas.  Thank you to the entire Sourbeck family for your sacrifice for our Country!

This awesome couple have been engaged for quite some time, and we've had these images since early winter, just haven't posted any!  Looking forward to their wedding in about two weeks! 



Three Things....

Sunday night at church our pastor asked several people to speak about three things they were thankful for.  As I listened to those people speak about what they were most thankful for, I thought about what three things I was most thankful for and why.  I am forever thankful to God for his grace and forgiveness, but after Him, there are three ladies who have impacted my life and I could never thank God enough for them.

                                                   1. Brooke-

 because she brings the balance to my personality, she's my best friend, the one person that God put here for me.

                                       2. Anna Jo-

because she shows me how to be compassionate to people, no matter how scruffy, dirty or tattered their faces may be.  Always willing to give a hug, and always striving to please others. 

                                       3. Madsey-

 because she keeps the mischief alive, reminding me that even though she's not always an angel, that hug and sweet smile is always there when you need it.

If you've ever wondered if I am thankful- well, yes, yes I am.
